  • Directions to Riddle Mountain Lookout:
    On Highway 78, heading from Burns toward Princeton, turn right off the highway at Milepost 37.8. Follow pavement and signs left toward the Round Barn. About 9 miles, just past the Round Barn, turn left
    Set your odometer to zero:
    Mile 0.0 Turn left (Happy Valley 3-mile sign), road turns to gravel
    Mile 2.8 Sharp turn to left, follow road
    Mile 4.0 Coon Town Bridge, possible gate, stay along fence
    Mile 5.1 Stay right along fence
    Mile 5.5 Gate, stay along fence line
    Mile 6.0 Gate, stay along fence line
    Mile 6.8 Gate, continue up the mountain
    Mile 8.0 Last gate, head up the mountain
    Mile 11.0 Lookout...Uphill!
