Project Title: Lakeview Parking Lot Surfacing

Description:

This parking lot serves the Lakeview Interagency Fire Center, equipment shop, warehouse and radio building. Its existing surface becomes muddy and rutted during wet weather.

Recovery Act Funding:

Project funding will be used to improve the parking lot. Adequate drainage will be installed, a crushed-rock base constructed and the surface paved with asphalt.

Benefits:

Paving the surface will prevent potholes and ruts from forming during the wet season. This will decrease future maintenance costs and allow the site to be used year round by all vehicle types.

Updates:

Construction is anticipated to begin in June.
