Description:
This project includes trail and trailhead construction at a number of locations in Jefferson, Crook, and Deschutes Counties. The project includes gravel surfacing of trailheads, purchase and installation of signs and interpretive kiosks, improving existing trails and construction of new trails.

Project work includes the following locations:
CRR Trails (Jefferson County): Provide new and/or improved trail opportunities along the Deschutes and Crooked Rivers through trail and trailhead construction and improvements. Project would construct approximately 3.5 miles of trail for non-motorized.
Cline Buttes Recreation Area (Deschutes County): Provide new trail opportunities and new trailheads within the Cline Buttes Recreation Area, a 50-square mile recreation area located between the communities of Redmond, Bend and Sisters.
Horse Ridge Trailheads (Deschutes County): Provide improved trailhead parking and solve safety issue with roadside parking at the partially completed Horse Ridge Trailhead and several adjacent access areas. Trailhead serves non-motorized trail use at a popular recreation area immediately east of Bend.

The new Horse Ridge trailhead project is now open and ready for use.
