Notice of Availability for the Record of Decision

The Notice of Availability (NOA) is an official legal notice that a federal agency has completed the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), allowed at least 30 days for review,  and is now ready to issue the Record of Decision (ROD).  Any protests filed during the 30-day review period should be resolved before the ROD can be signed.  The agency preparing the EIS will publish the NOA in the Federal Register.  Announcements that the ROD is ready for public distribution will also be provided to local newspapers, radio stations, and television stations. 

A Notice of Availability to review the Clark, Lincoln, and White Pine Counties Groundwater Development Project ROD is expected to be published in the Federal Register and provided to local media during or after the summer of 2009.  The Federal Register Notice and the ROD will also be posted on this website.  Please check the website periodically for more information.  You can also check the Federal Register at http://www.gpoaccess.gov/fr/index.html.
