Kane Springs Valley Groundwater Development Project Public Meetings for the Draft EIS

The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was made available for public review and comment on June 22, 2007.  The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) held public meetings in Carson City, Pioche, Alamo, and Las Vegas, Nevada during the week of July 30, 2007.  The purpose of the meetings was to introduce the Draft EIS, explain the comment period, and offer information about future steps in the EIS process.  In addition to being posted on this web page, information about public meeting locations and times was provided to local media in July 2007.
