Tuesday, July 18, 2007, 8:30 p.m. MEDIA ADVISORY EVACUATION ORDER The Elko County Sheriff’s Office has issued a mandatory evacuation order for Murphy Hot Springs 5 miles north of Jarbidge; and the Diamond A Ranch about 10 miles north of Jarbidge. A Voluntary Evacuation Order has been issued for Jarbidge. People may proceed to the Elko Convention Center, 700 Moren Way, in Elko. The American Red Cross is setting up housing and food for evacuees. People may bring a 5th wheel trailer and park in the Convention Center parking lot. Elko County Road 748 is open north and south of Jarbidge.
