The Lovelock Station is located within the Lovelock Volunteer Fire Department through a cooperative agreement between the city of Lovelock and the BLM.

Lovelock is located on the Southern end of the Winnemucca district off of I-80 halfway between Winnemucca and Reno, NV. The Lovelock Station staffs two Type IV wildland engines. Seasonal staffing consists of 6 to 8 firefighters and a Fire Operations Supervisor. 

The station is actively staffed from May until about October with housing available for the staff.
