Santa Rosa Mountains Fuels Break Project

On February 19, 2010 the BLM Winnemucca District issued a decision authorizing the immediate construction of fuelbreaks along the northern segment (southeast of McDermitt to Orovada) of the Santa Rosa Cooperative Fuels Management Plan project area.  This decision was based on a Finding of No Significant Impact and Environmental Assessment.

On May 24, 2010 the Winnemucca District issued a decision on the second segment of fuelbreaks (from Orovada to Paradise Hill) analyzed in the Environmental Assessment.  For more information, please follow the links below.
