Toward a safe, clean energy future: Lathrop Wells Solar Project proposes to use the state’s most abundant energy resource and leverage Nevada’s solar energy potential as a significant economic engine while simultaneously creating new jobs and bringing investment into the state; all the while supporting Nevada's utilities commitment and leadership in sustainable energy.

Acreage: 5,217* Status: Preparation phases towards a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Public Comment: Scoping comment period ended 09/13/2010 Public comments on Draft EIS - pending Electrical Transmission Connection: NV Energy & Valley Electric Association. 230kV transmission line to the Abengoa Switch Station *Acreage of total application area, not actual solar facility.
