Copper Mountain III Transmission Project (NVN-089424)

Toward a safe, clean energy future:  The Copper Mountain III Transmission project proposes to construct a 230 kV gen-tie power line on BLM administrated land that will connect and deliver electricty from the proposed 220MW Copper Mountain Solar (CMS) North facility located on private land.  The proposed action would support the development of environmentally responsible renewable energy.

Vitals Proposed Location:  Boulder City in Clark County, NV Electrical Transmission Connection:  ● A 230-kV gen-tie power line to deliver electricity from the proposed CMS North project to the existing Merchant and McCullough electrical substations; and ● A 230-kV gen-tie power line (the “CMS Link”) connecting the Merchant Substation to the existing Eldorado Substation.
