Thank you for your interest in including Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in your wedding plans. We have modified our wedding permit system to ensure that you enjoy your event as well as conserve Red Rock Canyon's unique resources.
An approved Special Recreation Permit (SRP) is required for all weddings. Applications must be submitted a minimum of 14 days in advance of intended use.
Advanced payment of $200 is required prior to permit issuance. Please call (702) 515-5371 for payment options.
SRPs are available on a first come, first served basis.
Sites include the following:
Dedication Overlook: The overlook provides a scenic panoramic view of RRCNCA. It is a developed site with a paved parking area (approximately 25 parking spaces) and a hiking trail. It is located approximately 1.7 miles south of RRCNCA Scenic Drive entrance, off of SR 159, Charleston Blvd.
Red Spring and Calico Basin: The area has a boardwalk trail and platform which is commonly used for ceremonies. There is plenty of parking and a picnic area available at this location. Red Spring Picnic area is located approximately one mile from the intersection of State Route 159 and Calico Road. This intersection is approximately four miles west of 215 and Charleston Blvd. or one mile east of the 13-Mile Scenic Drive entrance.
Times available for wedding sites are as follows:

Permits DO NOT allow exclusive use of a site. Picnic areas, trails and other facilities are open to the public.
The maximum number of people is 50.
You MUST have a copy of approved permit in hand at time of wedding.
Rice, birdseed, butterflies, balloons, arches, chairs and other props are prohibited.
Failure to abide by the above regulations will result in denial of future permits and possible issuance of a citation by BLM personnel or law enforcement.
Effective October 1, 2003, in addition to the regular permit fee, there will be an additional charge for all persons entering the Scenic Drive whether private or commercial. The charge will be the regular entrance fee of $7 for private vehicle or $2 per person in a bus or limo with a permit.
BLM must have written notification of any cancellation.
