Weddings

Thank you for your interest in including Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in your wedding plans. We have currently modified our wedding permit system please ensure that you follow the regulations below. 

1. An approved Special Recreation Permit (SRP) is required for all weddings.

2. Applications must be submitted a minimum of 14 days in advance of intended use.

3. Advanced payment of $190 is required prior to permit issuance. Please make checks payable to "Bureau of Land Management".  Send to the BLM, Las Vegas Field Office, 4701 Torrey Pines Drive, Las Vegas, NV  89130.

4. SRPs are available on a first come, first served basis.

5. Sites include the following:

Dedication Overlook: The overlook provides a scenic panoramic view of RRCNCA.  It is a developed site with a paved parking area (approximately 25 parking spaces) and a hiking trail.  It is located approximately 1.7 miles south of RRCNCA Scenic Drive entrance, off of SR 159, Charleston Blvd.

6. Times available for wedding sites are as follows:

Spring --- March 1 to March 31 -- 6 am to 7pm

Summer -- April 1 to Sept 30 ----- 6 am to 8pm

Fall ------- Oct 1 to Oct 31 ------- 6 am to 7pm

Winter ---- Nov 1 to Feb 28/29  -- 6 am to 5pm

7. Permits DO NOT allow exclusive use of a site.  Picnic areas, trails and other facilities are open to the public..

8. The maximum number of people is 50.

9. You MUST have a copy of approved permit in hand at time of wedding.

10. Rice, birdseed, butterflies, balloons, arches, chairs and other props are prohibited.

11. Failure to abide by the above regulations will result in denial of future permits and possible issuance of a citation by BLM personnel or law enforcement.

12. Effective October 1, 2003, in addition to the regular permit fee, there will be an additional charge for all persons entering the Scenic Drive whether private or commercial.  The charge will be the regular entrance fee of $5 for private vehicle or $2 per person in a commercial vehicle.

13. BLM must have written notification of any cancellation.
