CURRENT GRAZING
The purpose and need for the action is to fully process and renew the term grazing permit and reissue a permit for James A & Carleen J West on the Becky Creek (00404), Big Rock Seeding (00428), Gold Canyon (00413), Lovell Peak (00406) and Whiteman Creek (00408) Allotments. The current grazing term permit was issued from 07/25/2007to 07/31/2016.These allotments are located in the Steptoe B Watershed. The grazing use on each of these allotments is as follows:

Approximately 7,500 acres of Becky Creek allotment occur within the Becky Peak Wilderness Area.
WILD HORSE HERD MANAGEMENT AREA
Becky Creek and Lovell Peak Allotments are located within the Antelope wild horse herd management area (HMA). Big Rock Seeding and Gold Canyon are located within the Triple B wild horse HMA. Whiteman Creek allotment is located outside the boundaries of a wild horse HMA.
