Grazing Permit Renewal for Eldon Crawford (#2705134) for the Deer Lodge Allotment
 
The purpose and need is to fully process the renewal of the grazing permit for Eldon Crawford on the Deer Lodge Allotment (21026). The current permit has been issued to Mr. Crawford for the period of 8/6/04 to 2/28/2014. The issuance of the term permit would be for a period of up to10 years.

An evaluation of the rangeland monitoring data and rangeland health will be conducted for the Deer Lodge Allotment. This data will be summarized in a standards determination document.
 
The Deer Lodge Allotment is located 14 miles East of Pioche, Nevada. The allotment occurs in the Dry Valley (050) and Rose Valley (040) watersheds. The allotment is located 9 miles east of the Parsnip Peak Wilderness. The allotment encompasses 6,880 acres of BLM managed lands.   The allotment occurs in the Deer Lodge Herd Management Area for wild horses.
