- Nevada Wind Co. has identified a 5,220-acre project area on Table Mountain and Mt. Wilson, and has installed several anemometers at the site. Nevada Wind is in the wind monitoring process to acquire the data for a possible wind generation project.
- Nevada Wind has a rights-of-way (ROW) for anemometers and a 4,250-acre project area for the Antelope Range, and ROW applications for anemometers and a project area in the South Schell Creek range.
- Spring Valley Wind, LLC, has identified a 7,680-acre project area in North Spring Valley, and has installed anemometers at the site, and are today in the wind monitoring process to acquire data for a possible wind generation project. Spring Valley Wind has submitted an application and a draft plan of development to construct a wind energy facility.
- Invenergy, LLC, has two project areas, 4,400 and 4,911 acres respectively, with one anemometer authorized in each area located in North Spring Valley. The requests are for north of the Spring Valley Wind project area.
- Boulevard Associates has identified and submitted applications for two ROW for anemometers. The project area would be about 67,771 acres, and would located in north Spring Valley.
- Nevada Wind has submitted an application for four anemometers and a 2,950-acre project area on Atlanta Summit located, in Lincoln County.
- Nevada Wind has submitted an application for six anemometers and a 5,030-acre project area east of the Mt. Wilson project in the White Rock Mountains, in Lincoln County.
