The BLM Ely Field Office is scheduled Friday, Oct. 15, to conduct a 150-acre prescribed burn in the Goshute Basin, located in the Cherry Creek Range about 70 miles north of Ely. The prescribed burn will reduce hazardous fuels, reinvigorate Aspen stands and enhance habitat for blue grouse.
