Hamilton/Bullion Trail

The Elko Convention and Visitors Authority in conjunction with the BLM established a route so that mountain bikers could ride from Elko onto BLM land.

This marked trail is an 11 mile long loop with optional side routes. The route begins in the river bottom valley and traverses over hills offering scenic vistas of the Ruby Mountains, South Fork Reservoir, and the Humboldt River.

Riders should be cautious of vehicles on the section of route along Bullion Road. The southern and eastern portions of the trail are rarely used by vehicles and the eastern loop is on the Historic Hamilton Stage Road. The route is rated as beginner to intermediate.
