Clarence Sutton, card shark and magician, pulls a coin from the ear of Kindra Wardell, 8, as 6-year-old Hayden Smith watches in amazement. Sutton was working under the stage name Clancy and he demonstrated the many card games and tricks travelers might have experienced along the trail.
|Free wagon rides by Hawkes Clydesdales were also a treat for visitors to the 10th annual Trail Days at the California Trail Interpretive Center. Approximately 1,300 people visited the Trail Center to experience life on the Emigrant Trail through the many exhibitors present portraying life on a wagon encampment.||California Trail Center Foundation President, David Stanton, accepts a donation from James Moorman of Trails West, Inc. in the amount of $5,155.99 placing Trails West, Inc. into the Empire Building category of donors. The presentation kicked off the 10th annual California Trail Days May 18, 2013.|
