About the Center

The California Trail Interpretive Center, operated by the BLM, is located eight miles west of Elko at Hunter Exit 292. Currently a meeting room is available and tours of the Trail Center are available to school groups and other organizations on a prearranged basis. Contact Park Ranger Gary Koy at 775-934-2467 or e-mail gkoy@blm.gov to register for classes or add your name to the mailing list.

Current operating hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
