About the Center

The Center's Grand Opening is scheduled for June 2, 2012. Please call (775) 738-1849 for more information.

The California Trail Interpretive Center, operated by the BLM, is located eight miles west of Elko at Hunter Exit 292. Currently a meeting room is available and tours of the Trail Center are available to school groups and other organizations on a prearranged basis. Contact Park Ranger Gary Koy at 775-934-2467 or e-mail gkoy@blm.gov to register for classes or add your name to the mailing list.
