CALIFORNIA TRAIL CENTER EXHIBITS PUBLIC WORKSHOP
Elko, Nev. — A workshop to discuss proposed interpretive exhibits at the Elko California Trail Center will be held on Monday May 12, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Bureau of Land Management Elko District Office is hosting the workshop and the public is encouraged to attend. The workshop will be held at the Trail Center, located eight miles west of Elko on Interstate 80 at Exit #292 (Hunter).
“People will have a chance to comment on the content of the Trail Center’s future exhibits,” said BLM California Trail Center Manager Dave Jamiel. “There will a short presentation on the the development of the Interpretive Exhibit Plan.”
Jamiel added that there will be a tour of the proposed exhibit areas. During the tour participants will be able to view the different exhibit components in their proposed locations, read the associated supporting interpretive text, and see the proposed exhibit images.
