TRAVEL MANAGEMENT PLANNING WORKSHOP SCHEDULED

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Elko Field Office is hosting a public workshop
to continue Travel Management Planning for the Spruce Mountain area. The workshop will be held Monday, April 24, 2006, 6:00 p.m. at the Elko Field Office, 3900 E. Idaho Street, Elko, Nevada.
“We invite the public to join us as we continue planning for the future of vehicle travel and multiple uses on public lands in Northeastern Nevada,” said Tamara Hawthorne, Travel Management Project Leader, BLM Elko Field Office. “Because of increased public interest, the initial focus for the planning efforts will be on Spruce Mountain southeast of Wells, Nevada. We will be seeking more detailed public input on travel route designations in the Spruce Mountain area. Travel Management Planning is an open process and we depend on public participation to make it effective.”
For questions or more information, please contact Tamara Hawthorne by phone - (775) 753-0200, by email - thawthor@nv.blm.gov, or by mail - 3900 Idaho St., Elko, NV, 89801.
