The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Elko Field Office is hosting a public workshop
to continue the Travel Management Planning process for public lands in Northeastern Nevada. The workshop will be held Thursday, May 25, 2006, 6:00 p.m. and lasting for two hours at the Carlin Senior Center, 320 Chestnut Street, Carlin, Nevada.
“We invite the public to join us as we continue planning for the future of vehicle travel and multiple uses on public lands in Northeastern Nevada,” said Tamara Hawthorne, Travel Management Project Leader, BLM Elko Field Office. “This meeting is a continuation of previous workshops held in Elko, Wendover, Wells, and Jackpot. This meeting will focus on public lands in Carlin area. Travel Management Planning is an open process and we depend on public participation to make it effective. We want to know where the public wants the BLM to focus management.”
