TABOR CREEK CAMPGROUND ROAD WASHED OUT

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Elko Field Office announced today that parts of the Tabor Creek Campground Road 30 miles north of Wells, Nevada, have been washed out by recent heavy runoff. The Upper Campground is closed until further notice. The Lower Tabor Creek Campground is still accessible and open.
In addition, the Marys River bridge near Gibbs Ranch about 30 miles north of Deeth, Nevada is closed.
BLM urges people to be careful when driving in wet conditions and especially on back roads. When the snowmelt subsides, BLM staff will assess road damage in Northeastern Nevada and begin repairs.
People who see washed out roads or flooding damage are asked to notify BLM at (775) 753-0200.
