Churchill Canyon Range Environmental Assessent

The BLM Sierra Front Field Office, has prepared the Churchill Canyon Grazing Allotment, Environmental Assessment (EA). The Allotment is located in the Pine Nut Mountains of Douglas and Lyon counties, Nevada. The EA analyzed the direct, indirect and cumulative effects to the human environment associated with issuing a new 10-year term livestock grazing permit for the Allotment. The EA evaluated a Proposed Action and two other alternatives (Current Management and No Grazing).

On August 29, 2011 the BLM issued a final grazing decision and notified interested parties of its availability.
