Renewable Energy Case Records Verification and Updates to Provide Application Status
Scanning Project Will Make Renewable Energy Document Indices Available Online

Project: Scan controlled document indices (CDI cards) for renewable energy case records.

ARRA Funding Level: $107,000; $109,653 allocated for CDI Indexing Table

Progress: Rescanning of CDIs to Eastern States standards to be completed under LR2000 validation project.

February 2, 2011: $98,048 obligated, $94,783 spent.

June 3, 2010: Project work started.

Contracts: The contract was awarded to High Desert Micro-imaging of Reno.

Completion target date: December 31, 2011

Jobs: Two contract workers employed off-site.

Benefits and Needs: The project will make these records available electronically on the BLM General Lands Office Records web site and will be linked to LR2000.

Background: At this time these CDI cards must be accessed manually on a microfiche reader in the BLM Nevada State Office.
