This session, the third in the Painless Performance Conversation series, presents and reinforces a vital skill used in performance conversations. Inquiring powerfully and purposefully--being curious--allows leaders to learn the employee’s perspective and gain support for their goals. But it’s not as easy as it sounds. Asking questions in a way that conveys sincere interest in the other person’s perspective is an art. We’ll look at the language you can use to encourage employees to participate in performance conversations.
