Course Description
“If you ignore it, it will go away.” Many supervisors take this approach to managing tough employee situations. And it never works. When we ignore performance issues and avoid the tough conversations, problems fester and grow. This session makes the argument for swift and direct conversations that build morale and teamwork in the long run. We’ll explore the cost of avoidance and preview the mindsets to a painless performance conversation. Using practical exercises and real life examples, we’ll investigate what it takes to master the skill of leading employee performance conversations.

Participants must currently be a supervisor.
