Program Description
This 90-minute live broadcast is another in a series of Planning/NEPA Forums presented by the BLM’s National Training Center. These forums cover current and important planning or NEPA-related topics. Previous topics have included: Connected Actions; Purpose and Need; Administrative Record; and Cooperating Agencies.
 
During this broadcast an expert panel will discuss what contracting is, when and why to consider contracting a planning or NEPA project, review guidance, discuss ways to improve writing statements-of-work, requests for proposals and memoranda of understanding, how to evaluate proposals, and answer questions from viewers.
 
The guest panelists are: Chris Carlton, BLM Planning and Environmental Coordinator from the Wyoming State Office, Molly Cobbs, BLM Planning and Environmental Coordinator from the Anchorage District Office, Cindy Kleinholz, BLM Contracting Officer at the National Operations Center, and host Cathy Humphrey, BLM Training Coordinator at the National Training Center.
 
Target Audience: 
This telecast is intended primarily for BLM employees who are involved in initiating contracts for planning and NEPA documents; specifically those who write statements-of-work, memoranda of understanding, request for proposals, and evaluating proposals.

To view this telecast, select DISH Channel 9629 on your satellite receiver. This will automatically pick up NTC’s DISH transmission on the correct satellite
 
During the test signal period, you should see the NTC program test signal and hear music. At other times you will see a Dish Network Business Solutions graphic, unless that channel is being used by another DISH Network customer.
