Engineering Support
Professional Engineers have always known the need for geospatial products in their work. What some may not know is that these products and services are available from NSTC’s Branch of Resource Technology. The branch houses specialists in GIS, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
Our specialists can provide a wide range of products including detailed terrain models to support the planning and construction of site or infra-structure improvements, or as-built drawings to support the conceptual design phase of new facilities.
We provide contracting services for the acquisition of imagery and surveying products or we can provide advice on the specifications for acquiring these services through A&E contracts. Our experts can consult and advise on the benefits of the newest data sources such as LIDAR and Digital Aerial Photography to ensure that the best and most cost efficient products are employed.
Because we are here to serve the Bureau, all this can be provided at little or no cost to the BLM customer.
