    Description:
      Abstract:
 
        Bureau of Land Management Headquarters, state, and field offices.
	The Bureau administers it's land via a three-tiered structure of 
	administration.  Tier 1 are "state offices" and include 12 states, 
	all in the west, with the Eastern States administering mostly mineral
	estate in the east.  (See admin04g for administrative jurisdiction
	boundaries).  Tier 2, is the second level of administration often 
	referred to as Field Offices or Districts.  Tier 3 is only found in four
	states and also called Field Offices or Resourceareas.  Attribute "OT"
	designates the tier level.  "ADDRESS3" is the city/state address for
	the office.  "BLMOFFICE" is the office name.  "JURISDICTION" is the
	state or Tier 1 level that administrates this office.
 
      Purpose:
 
        Supplement the datasets blmadmin04 and blmland04 (BLM surface lands).
	Provide a mapping dataset.
 
      Supplemental_Information:
 
        It should be noted that some BLM offices occupy the same office space as
	other BLM offices, e.g. sometimes State Office addresses also contain 
	Field Offices or other offices.  Several "National" program offices are
	also located outside the Washington HQ office and are administered by
	the HQ office.  "Special project" offices also are found for non-area
	administration.  Note that in some instances state offices will administer
	area and/or lands in other states (see admin04g).
