Dry sulfamic acid shall be poured into the empty well casing at the rate of 160 lb per 100 gallons of standing water. The acid shall then be agitated by use of a surge block, water jet, or air jet for [ ] hr. After [ ] hr the solution shall be pumped from the well and discharged into an impervious evaporation pit. Dry calcium hypochlorite shall be poured into the empty well casing at the rate of 0.20 lb per 100 gal of standing water. Calcium hypochlorite shall have 70% available chlorine. The chlorine solution shall remain in the well for 10 hr and then be agitated for 1 hr by means of surge block, water jet, or air jet. The solution shall then be pumped from the well to an impervious evaporation pit.
