[UL label shall show listing for zero clearance.] UL listing and labeling will not be required if it can be shown that heaters meet the requirements of another nationally recognized testing laboratory (NRTL).(#  PART 2: PRODUCTS 2.1MATERIALS A.General: Heaters shall be constructed of the manufacturer's standard materials, as listed in published product information; types and sizes shall be as indicated or as required for the installation.(# 2.2DUCT HEATERS A.General: Each heater shall be capable of producing [ ] kW of heat at [ ] volts, [ ] phase, [ ] degrees F air temperature rise%0*s's' at [ ] ft. elevation and [ ] cfm. The pressure loss shall be less than [ ] inches w.g. at [ ] cfm.(# B.Construction: The electric duct heater shall be of slipin configuration. Heating elements shall be nickel and chromium; steps shall be arranged to prevent stratification when operating at less than full capacity. Element terminal shall be stainless steel; insulators and bracket bushings shall be nonporous ceramic and securely positioned. Frame shall be constructed of heavy gauge galvanized steel with galvanized steel brackets, stiffening ribs and gussets spot welded to the casing. Terminal box shall be spot welded construction with solid hinged cover, totally enclosed, without louvers, or grilles.(# C.Safety Devices: An automatic thermal cutout shall be furnished for primary overtemperature protection. Power shall be cut off to the heater if airflow falls below the minimum recommended by the manufacturer, and by the outdoor ambient temperature which shall be adjustable between 60 degree F and 80 degree F. Secondary protection shall be deenergize elements when the primary cutout fails. All safety devices shall be serviceable through the terminal box without removing the heater from the duct. The heater shall have a [2] [3] pole safety interlocking disconnect switch, magnetic contractors, transformer with primary fusing, air flow or pressure differential switch, supplementary circuit fuses per NEC, and separate load and terminal blocks to accept conductors.(# D.Controls: The heater control system shall be capable of maintaining a constant discharge air temperature by automatically sequencing heating elements in at least [ ] stages.
