Optical assembly shall consist of a diecast aluminum lens holder with aluminum reflector, a heat and impact resistant flat glass lens and a porcelain mogul base screw shell socket. Socket holder shall be adjustable. The optical assembly shall contain an activated charcoal filter. Reflector shall be designed to produce an ANSI, IES MCIII light distribution. Ballast shall be of the regulator type suitable for use at 120V. Fixture shall be lamped with one 250 watt high pressure sodium lamp. Mounting arm shall be 4 ft long, 2 in. pipe size suitable for mounting on a wood pole. Pole shall be pressure treated wood with no more than 3 in. deflection from top to bottom. Bottom of pole shall extend at least 5 ft. into the ground and shall be encased in 2 ft. dia. (min.) concrete.
