Nigerian Filmmakers Visit New Mexico

On September 15th and 16th, three Nigerian filmmakers visited BLM New Mexico to learn about the Restore New Mexico program.  They are hoping to take back some of the lessons learned from the successful Restore program to combat Nigeria's desertification problem.  Since 2005, BLM New Mexico and partners have treated and begun critical landscape restoration on over one million acres.  The program has become a national - and now international - model of landscape restoration and partnership efforts.
