BLM New Mexico NEPA Logs

These logs track initiation and approval of environmental documents that are being or have been completed as part of the BLM's responsibilities under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). When offered, public comment periods are initiated through official notifications (i.e., direct mailing, local and/or state newspapers, Federal Register notices). However, interested publics are also encouraged to check this site frequently to ensure adequate time for comment on specific NEPA documents, especially in the case of projects without a planned formal public comment period.  These comments will be considered during the NEPA analysis and decision-making process for the applicable project, contingent on the project’s schedule status. Please feel free to provide comments to or request information from the contact identified on the individual logs.
