Note: The BLM New Mexico State Office will only be considering Expressions of Interests (EOIs) received for the Pecos District (Carlsbad and Roswell Field Offices) in the October 2013 Oil & Gas Lease Sale. All other EOIs received for the October 2013 Oil & Gas Lease Sale will be considered in the January 2014 Oil & Gas Lease Sale. Two Week Public Scoping Nominated Parcels and Maps Field Office project lead contacts are listed on the nominated parcel webpage.	4/22/2013 through 5/6/2013	Two week public scoping period of nominated lease parcels including the field offices preliminary recommendations and stipulations. Stipulation summaries, GIS shapefiles, and maps are also provided. This allows the public an opportunity to provide comments which are then analyzed and incorporated into the environmental analysis as appropriate.
30 Day Public Review EA & Unsigned FONSI Carlsbad Field Office Roswell Field Office Comments can be submitted to the BLM NM State Office at the following address: NMleasesalecomments@blm.gov	6/3/2013 through 7/5/2013	Thirty day public review and comment period of the lease sale Environmental Assessment (EA) and the unsigned Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). Comments received from the public will be analyzed and incorporated into the environmental analysis as appropriate.
Lease Sale Notice & Protest Period Sale Notice - October 16, 2013 EA and unsigned FONSI	7/17/2013 through 8/16/2013 Last day to submit protest: 8/16/2013	Notice of Competitive Lease Sale and lease sale Environmental Assessment (EA) posting with unsigned Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). Thirty day lease sale protest period begins.
Protests Protests Received Protest Response	7/17/2013 or later	Lease sale protests received from the public during the 30 day protest period and BLM responses to the protests and decisions.
Sale Results	10/16/2013	Summary of the lease sale results. It includes the total number and acreage of parcels sold and the net revenue (bonus bids, fees and first-year rentals) generated from the sale.
EA, FONSI & Decision Record	9/25/2013 or later	Final lease sale EA with signed FONSI and Decision Record (DR).
LR2000 Lease Issuance Report	TBD	Report of the leases issued after the sale.
