Two Week Public Scoping


11/16-30/2010Two week public scoping period of nominated lease parcels including the field offices preliminary recommendations and stipulations. Stipulation summaries and maps are also provided. This allows the public an opportunity to provide comments which are then analyzed and incorporated into the environmental analysis as appropriate.

Comments can be submitted to the BLM NM State Office at the following address:

12/2-31/2010Thirty day public review and comment period of the lease sale Environmental Assessment (EA) and the unsigned Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). Comments received from the public will be analyzed and incorporated into the environmental analysis as appropriate.

Lease Sale

1/19/2011Notice of Competitive Lease Sale and final lease sale Environmental Assessment (EA) posting with signed Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Decision Record (DR). Thirty day lease sale protest period begins.
