Station 9: Ridge Top Panoramic View and Hike ConclusionBrian Wignall, Narrator The overlook from the top is spectacular, as Linda Rundell, State Director of the Bureau of Land Management explains. Linda Rundell, State Director of the Bureau of Land Management Panoramic views at the top of the ridge show off the beauty of New Mexico and remind visitors why this state is truly the “Land of Enchantment”. Sweeping vistas show distant mountains, the Rio Grande Valley, and highlight ponderosa pine and piñon-juniper woodlands that are habitat for elk, mule deer, and wild turkeys. Jesse Juen, Associate State Director of the Bureau of Land Management The Bureau of Land Management and the Cochiti Pueblo continue to work together to make Tent Rocks as accessible as possible while minimizing the impact caused by human visitors. We want to encourage you to join our partnership. By taking away only photographs and memories, you’ll be assisting us in preserving this area for future generations. |
