Station 3: Overlook

Brian Wignall, Narrator

At the Station 3 Overlook, stop and catch your breath and take in beautiful scenery as we listen to Jesse Juen, Associate State Director for the Bureau of Land Management.

Jesse Juen, Associate State Director for the BLM

An Overview along the way allows you to take in the complex landscape and remarkable scenery of this National Monument.

Surrounded by the Sangre de Cristo, the Jemez and Sandia mountains, we get a small glimpse of geological time.  The hills around are cloaked in juniper and piñon.

Depending upon the season of your visit, you are likely to see red-tailed hawks, scrub jays, and an occasional eagle soaring high above the canyons.
