You've found us! This is the place to learn all about the planning effort going on in the Rio Puerco Field Office in Albuquerque.
Our staff has heard from members of the public and we were asked if we will provide any additional formal scoping meetings. Just to let you know, we are not able to provide any more formal scoping meetings due to limited funds but we can do the next best thing—we can take our show on the road!
If your group would like to invite us to your association meeting to speak about the RMP and what it means to you, give Joe Blackmon a call. You can reach him at (505) 761-8918.
If you didn't get your comments into to us by the deadline of May 31, don't worry. Although it was best that you sent in your information by our deadline, (think early bird and worms) you will have another chance to make general comments that will be taken in consideration for the analysis of alternatives until September 30, 2008. You can still comment by email at nm_rpfo_comment@blm.gov and mail your comments to 435 Montaño NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
You can comment on the topic issues that we came up with or if you have some other ideas that we did not think of, please let us know about it through the commenting process. This is about gathering information about what affects you and the land. Give us a call or drop us a note to let us know your interests, thoughts and ideas. We are here to listen and are anxious to hear your ideas.
For further information, you may contact Joe Blackmon, RMP Team Lead, (505) 761-8918 or Sabrina Flores, Technical Coordinator (505) 761-8794.
Scoping Meeting feedback
At a couple of the meetings, we've heard people request information about the Westwide Energy Corridor. If you would like information about the Energy Corridor, please go to the website at corridoreis.anl.gov. It is a completely different federal action and the lead agency is the Department of Energy.
