Southern Road Improvements Project Environmental Assessment
This environmental assessment (EA) evaluates impacts to public land in Doña Ana and Sierra Counties for proposed road improvements on a 23.6-mile section of currently unpaved county roads. The counties, in partnership with the New Mexico Spaceport Authority (NMSA), have proposed to pave Southern Road by utilizing State funds administered by the NMSA. The comment period on the project runs through February 25, 2016. Instructions for submitting comments are outlined in the Dear Reader Letter below.
