BLM Announces Helium Auction for July 30, 2014
The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Amarillo Field Office has announced a July 30, 2014, helium auction at the Federal Helium Reserve near Amarillo. The auction is part of an implementation plan developed in response to the Helium Stewardship Act of 2013 (HSA), which mandated the transition to a privatized system. The Federal Register Notice for the planned auction was published July 23. A document library containing forms to be used in connection with the sale and auction is available here.
