Nominations for the Prescribed Fire On-the-Job Training Program
This Information Bulletin provides Bureau of Land Management (BLM) employees an opportunity to gain Prescribed Fire experience and to complete Position Task Books (PTBs). Trainees must meet the training and qualifications requirements for the position and have a PTB initiated. The prescribed fire assignments will target each individual’s PTB completion needs.

Prescribed Fire Positions - PPT Presentation
Database Update Request
Individuals in the RX OJT Program are asked to apply for the program at the beginning of each fiscal year. (See the link at the top of the page regarding the RO OJT Program nomination process.)
When submitting nominations, nominees may enter three dates of availability. If you are available for more than three dates, initiate a new request. Do not extend dates past the fiscal year.
