03/20/2008	4 The NWCG and Its Training Process	Purpose of change: Office of Fire and Aviation Director (OF&A Director) was changed to Fire and Aviation Director (F&A Director) Changes have occurred in the membership and leadership of various teams. Instead of listing all NWCG courses, a link to the Field Manager’s Course Guide was given.
05/21/08	3 BLM-Specific Requirements & Positions--Supplemental to the PMS 310-1	New requirements were added to Chapter 3 as a result of changes to the Interagency Standards for Fire and Fire Aviation (Redbook).
03/07/08	1 Responsibilities & Committee Relationships	Change of position in title and text from Office of Fire and Aviation to Fire and Aviation Director Change of name from National Operations Committee (NOC) to Fire Operations Group (FOG)
02/28/08	3 BLM-Specific Requirements & Positions--Supplemental to the PMS 310-1	All changes are the result of requirement updates from the 2008 Interagency Standards for Fire and Fire Aviation Operations (Redbook). Additional changes will be forthcoming regarding RX positions.
02/28/08	2 Mandatory & Suggested Training	Risk Assessment and Mitigation Strategies (RAMS) was added to Application Training. The Application and Suggested Training sections were alphabetized.
01/22/08	2 Mandatory & Suggested Training	Integrated Charge Card Training OC-2008-12 was released requiring all BLM Integrated Charge Cardholders to complete new training no later than March 31, 2008, and complete a refresher training a minimum of every three years. Orientation to the Privacy Act IM TC 2008-02 was released requiring said employees to complete Orientation to the Privacy Act no later than May 16, 2008. Records Management Awareness IM TC 2008-02 was released requiring said employees to complete Records Management Awareness no later than May 16, 2008.
11/01/07	3 BLM-Specific Requirements & Positions--Supplemental to the PMS 310-1	Firing Boss Leader (FIBL)   Addition of a new position and its related training and qualification requirements.   Firing Boss (FIRB)   Change made to update training and prerequisite requirements   See FA IM-2007-023, Change 1 at http://web.blm.gov/internal/fire/Directives/imof&a2007-023change1.pdf This Instruction Memorandum (IM) transmits the reclassification of the National Wildland Fire Coordinating Group (NWCG) FIRB position into two positions; the current FIRB position with modifications and a new Firing Leader (FIRL) position.
5/4/07	2 Mandatory & Suggested Training	Discrimination and Whistleblowing in the Workplace   Change made to reflect error in recurrence. Was annually. Should have been initially then once every two years.
