Subject: Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 Asset Management Data Requirements DD: 6/30/2011
Program Area: Asset Management, Property Management, Engineering
Purpose: The purpose of this Instruction Memorandum (IM) is to provide updated information regarding the asset management data requirements for FY 2011, and to provide additional guidance to
WO IM 2011-072, FY 2011 Asset Management Data Requirements.
Policy/Action: It is requested that each district and field office manager reply to this IM stating that all required information has been reviewed and corrections made in the Facility Asset Management System (FAMS) as necessary.
Information to be reviewed and verified is as follows:
· FAMS data completeness.
· Condition assessments for recreation and administrative sites, bridges and major culverts, and dams. Please note that each site should have a “last inspection date” and a “next CCA” date of FY 2011 or later.
· Utilization data for owned offices, warehouses, and housing as reported in the Federal Real Property Profile (FRPP).
· Planned disposition information for all assets over $5,000 in the Current Replacement Value (CRV).
· Disposition completion information for all assets over $5,000 in the CRV.
The leased office and warehouse space component will be included on one spreadsheet, and is still being constructed at the NOC. It should be available within the next several weeks. District and field offices will be contacted with further instructions when this is complete and updates are needed.
Timeframe: Reply to this IM by email to Scott DeBock on or before June 30, 2011.
