United States Department of the Interior   BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT Montana State Office 5001 Southgate Drive Billings, Montana 59101-4669 http://www.blm.gov/mt September 18, 2007 In Reply To:  1786 (934.DD) P                                                                                                   EMAIL TRANSMISSION – 9/18/07 Information Bulletin No. MT-2007-059   To:             All Montana/Dakotas Employees   From:          Deputy State Director, Division of Support Services   Subject:       Elimination of National Forms in Shared Directory   Due to the continuous updates to national forms, effective October 1, 2007, the Branch of Records will no longer save BLM, GSA, DOI, or other national forms to the shared directory on the S drive (S:blm.share/records/forms).   Montana forms will continue to be saved to the S drive with access through the intranet. Normally, all national forms are available from the Records intranet site. The Records intranet site is: http://web.mt.blm.gov/mso/records/records.html     Accessing forms from the Forms Central, DOI Forms, or GSA Forms Library sites will ensure employees are using the current form version. It is time consuming for the State Office to maintain national forms when access is so easy. Remember, when searching for a BLM form by a form number in Forms Central, a 3-digit extension is required (e.g., 2800-014).   All Montana/Dakotas letterhead templates will continue to be available on the Records intranet site:   http://web.mt.blm.gov/mso/records/records.html or on the “S” drive (S:blm.share/records/letterhead).   Questions or comments regarding this guidance should be directed to Debbie DeBock, State Records Administrator, at (406) 896-5157.     Signed by: Randy D.
