Subject: Evacuation and Emergency Procedures Plan
The purpose of the Evacuation and Emergency Procedures Plan is to provide employees and volunteers of the Montana State Office and Billings Field Office with guidelines to follow when an emergency evacuation of the facility is necessary.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29 CFR 1910.38 requires the implementation of a written emergency action plan which lists the designated actions necessary to ensure employee safety from fire and other emergencies.
It is everyone’s responsibility to protect life and property from fire, flood, explosion, and other disasters. Attachment 1 is the evacuation and emergency procedures plan for the Montana State Office and Billings Field Office. All employees and occupants should become familiar with these guidelines and the location of their designated assembly areas. Your cooperation may save your life in an emergency.
If you have questions regarding this plan, you may contact Lisa Engelmann, at 896-5193, or Karilynn Volk, at 896-5190.
