Agate Basin   10,400-9,000 B.P.

Agate Basin are long slender points with sides slightly convex or almost parallel.  The point is broadest above the midsection. Bases are straight to convex.  Flaking is usually of the horizontal parallel variety (irregular and parallel transverse), and there is a fine marginal retouch and pronounced grinding of the lower lateral edges.  Sizes range between 2.5 and 6 inches.  Wormington, H.
