Free Entrance to Monument on Sept. 27
The entrance fee to Pompeys Pillar National Monument will be waived for all visitors on Sept. 27 as part of the National Public Lands Day celebration.

The normal fee of $7 per vehicle includes all occupants and is charged from April 28 to October 25 when full services are provided. 

Pompeys Pillar National Monument will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily now through October 25. Although the interpretive center will close for the season October 25, visitors may still walk in to the site during daylight hours.

Pompeys Pillar National Monument is 25 miles east of Billings off Interstate 94.
