Red Rock/Lima Watershed Environmental Assessment
Available For Review
The Bureau of Land Management’s Dillon Field Office has completed the Red Rock/Lima Watershed Environmental Assessment (EA) for 55,872 acres in southwest Montana. It is available for public review with a 30 day comment period ending on June 27.
The EA recommends management direction related to livestock management, vegetative treatments, travel management modifications, and range projects on 25 grazing allotments within the Red Rock/Lima Watershed.
The document provides description and analysis for four management alternatives. After reviewing public comments, Field Manager Tim Bozorth, will select one of the alternatives, or a combination of alternatives for implementation.
Written comments should be sent to BLM’s Dillon Field Office at 1005 Selway Drive in Dillon, MT 59725 or via email to MT_Dillon_FO@blm.gov. Please put Red Rock/Lima in the subject line.
If you have questions about the proposed management alternatives, contact Ryan Martin or Pat Fosse at the email address above or by calling the Dillon Field Office at 683-8000.
