Date:  August 11, 2008 Contact:  Mark Jacobsen (406) 233-2831  BLM Resource Advisory Council to Meet The Bureau of Land Management’s Eastern Montana Resource Advisory Council will meet Tuesday, Aug. 26 at the BLM Miles City Field Office main conference room located at 111 Garryowen Road in Miles City. Topics of discussion will include Billings and Miles City Field Office updates and various resource management issues. The meeting is open to the public and will start at 8:00 a.m. The council will hear comments from the public from 11:00 a.m. until noon. Interested parties may make oral statements before the council or file a written statement for consideration by the RAC.  The purpose of the council is to advise the Secretary of the Interior through the BLM on a variety of issues associated with public land management.
